MOVICON Planetary Gearboxes are among the most efficient and compact solutions in modern drive technology, ideal for applications requiring very high torque in limited installation space.
Their design principle, in which multiple planet gears share the load around a central sun gear, ensures even load distribution, high efficiency and low wear.
The coaxial layout provides an excellent power-to-weight ratio and high mechanical strength, with torque capacities of up to 5,450,000 Nm depending on configuration.
For very high reduction ratios, multi-stage concepts combining planetary and helical stages enable efficient power transmission in compact footprints. MOVICON Planetary Gearboxes are widely used in bulk material handling and process industries, including drives for bucket wheels, mills and presses.
