Compact single-phase asynchronous IEC Motors with aluminum housing are designed for reliable performance, easy installation and smooth operation. Depending on the application, they are available for high starting torques or continuous-duty operation.
While capacitor-run designs offer a starting torque factor of 0.3 – 0.7, dual-capacitor designs provide a starting torque factor of up to 2.5, making these motors suitable for demanding start-up conditions.
Three-phase asynchronous IEC Motors are a versatile solution for general drive applications. They combine safe operation, reliable performance, convenient maintenance, low noise, low vibration and compact construction.
The motors are totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) and based on squirrel cage motor construction. Standard B3 foot mounting and several flange options make them easy to integrate into different machine designs.
For applications in potentially explosive atmospheres, explosion-proof IEC motor versions are available. Protection concepts include Ex db motor and terminal box for gas as well as Ex db eb motor with Ex d and Ex e terminal board for gas.
